Made in Abyss Season 2 Episode 2 Spoiler
As shown in the first episode of Made in Abyss season 2, Eluko is a young girl and she has no member of her family. She gets adopted by a man, but he behaves rudely and harshly towards the young girl. The man is Ganja himself who goes to the island with Eluko.
Eluko usually shares the stories which the man had told her. Further in the episode, the man sees a ship near the island. The ship has a lot of burnt bodies, but there is no sign of fire in any of the parts of the ship. Some men were searching for something that they may be confused in to get, and those men got one survivor who was seeming to be so scared to talk with anyone. Ganja founds a compass while moving toward the island.

The man who was surviving on the ship was asked by Ganja about the compass, and he told him that it was a co-compass and that the compass would work properly. Later, the man who was the only one who was surviving on the ship dies too. The man had also told Ganja that the Golden city exists for real and extends to end at the place where this world ends.
Eluko is so frustrated by everything that was happening around her that and wants to go to a place where she would be able to find some peace. She gets to know that Ganja was asked by some of their own people to search for the Golden city. Eluko vomits in the ocean, and later meets the leader Wazukyan who calms her down. After some more incidents in the episode, the episode ends with Eluko joining the group of some natives of the island. The group finds the sixth layer of the earth and the group names the layer “the capital of the Unreturned.”
