A shooting video has been suffering on social media after a gunman who opened fire aboard a subway train in Brooklyn on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. In the accident, almost 10 people were shot while eleven other people also suffered from several injuries while trying to move away from the train, said the New York Fire Department. According to the sources, a Brooklyn subway rider recalled the gunman coming face to face who opened fire. While the person was wearing a mask and threw two smoke canisters.
Then, started to fire openly aboard a subway car on the N train when the train is about to reach to the 36th Street Station in Brooklyn in the morning. Remembering the attack, Fitim Gjeloshi who is a subway rider told the media that he was on the Manhattan-bound N train just around 08:30 AM in Brooklyn and he saw the man sitting in a corner and was mumbling to himself. Gjeloshi said,” I looked at him and I thought to myself he was talking to himself for like awhile, so I looked at him, and I was like, this guy must be on drugs”. Suddenly, he saw that suspect took out a gas mask when the train was brought underground after leaving the 59th Street Station behind.
Brooklyn Subway Shooting
Well, the details of the person have not been revealed yet. During the investigation, Gjeloshi said,” When the train was about to reach 36th Street, we stopped for five minutes. He brought out a gas mask from his bag. Then, he opened one of his gas tanks and said “oops, my bad”. He also pulls out an ax but he drops it and he takes a gun out and starts shooting. Gjeloshi adds,” the suspect shot at him first but he managed to escape from him aim but one guy who was right to him got shot and says Help! Help!”.
He asked people to help him and cover his blood of him. I jump over, I bang the door and I kicked it with my leg, said Gjeloshi. A person named Frank R James, 62, has been a person of interest in the shooting case. During a news conference on Tuesday, James W. Essig, a New York Police Chief of Detectives said that the keys of a U-Haul van that James rented were found at the scene of the shooting in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood. Currently, the investigation is going on and police are trying to find the hard proof against the suspect.
Well, James has not been named as a suspect in this case. Along with this, James had allegedly berated against Mayor Adams and created threats on social media earlier.
