She was 78 and died in Pune. The director suffering from lung-related problems and she was under observation at a private hospital. The announcement of her death confirmed by Marathi Director Sunil Sukthankar. They both worked with each other in the movie Kaasav and won the Swarna Kamal at the National Awards together.
