She was 78 and died in Pune. The director suffering from lung-related problems and she was under observation at a private hospital. Sumitra Bhave Died At 78

If we talk about the work of the famous personality then she worked on many projects such as Kaasav, Samhita, Astu, Welcome Home, Vaastupurush, Dahavi Fa, Devrai, and many more. The announcement of her death confirmed by Marathi Director Sunil Sukthankar. They both worked with each other in the movie Kaasav and won the Swarna Kamal at the National Awards together. Sumitra Bhave died in a Pune hospital on Monday due to lung problems. So, her fans and well-known very upset after knowing the saddest truth of her demise.

Sumitra Bhave was a successful Director and Writer, who regarded as one of the people who charged the entire Marathi Cinema because of her work. The projects that she picked are related to discrimination and mental health Bhave also lent her voice as a narrator for the upcoming film of Chaitanya Tamhane named The Discipline. All the movies that she direct got much fame and attention from the audience and good response from the critics.

Neena Kulkarni also took to social media to express her feelings after knew the death of Sumitra Bhave. She shared a long message in which she wrote “Sheer genius …strong social statements, women empowerment messages, woven into engrossing story-telling…that’s what made her films brilliant. Be it short films, feature films, series, her statements shone through her creations. A #NationalAwardwinner many times over, she remained simple in living and high in thinking…#sumitrabhave (sic)”. Now, all the people who know her are very upset because they never ever think about her demise. We just want to say that May Her Soul Rest In Peace.
