A piece of very big news is coming that two students who have qualified for the forthcoming Tokyo Olympic games are Athlete Murali Sreeshankar a Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) alumnus and fencer Bhavani Devi, a student of the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha. After the confirmation of Sreeshankar for the Tokyo Olympic, SAI tweeted that “Sreeshankar qualifies for Olympics! #TOPSAthlete long jumper #Sreeshankar has qualified for #Tokyo2020 with a national record jump of 8.26m at the Federation Cup. He surpassed his own record of 8.20m and the Olympic qualifying mark of 8.22m”. On the other hand, Bhavani Devi is India’s first sabre fencer. She will be chosen for the Tokyo Olympics to represent India. She is a student of the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) who ready to show her outstanding performance to the entire world.
