But the grand finale episode is all about the Kargil war heroes, Subedar Major Yogendra Singh Yadav and Subedar Sanjay Kumar. Major Yogendra Singh is a Junior Commissioned Officer in the Indian Army. At the age of 19, he was the youngest person to award this medal.
Subedar Sanjay Kumar is also the Indian Army Junior Commissioned Officer and the recipient of Param Vir Chakra for his gallantry in the 1999 Kargil War. He shared a story that his application got rejected thrice while he wanted to join the Military.
