She is a 21-year-old woman and belongs to Karnataka. She was crowned Miss India 2022 this Sunday. Manasa Varanasi who has also crowned Miss India in 2020 crowned Sini Shetty. Manasa is from Telangana. The venue for the ceremony was Jio Convention Centre, Mumbai. With the crowning ceremony, Sini has now become the 71st representative for India at the Miss World Pageant.

Who Is Sini Shetty?

Sini is an Indian model who had recently been crowned Miss India at a recent ceremony that was held at Jio Convention Center in Mumbai on 3rd July. She will now be representing India at the 71st Miss World Pageant.

She hails from Karnataka but was given birth in Mumbai in 2000. Her birth parents are Sadanand and Hema Shetty. She also has a sibling who goes by the name of Shikin Shetty. She is from a well-to-do family as her father is the founder and MD at Shikin Hotels.

Sini had been passionate about her acting and dancing ever since she was little. Her dancing began at the early age of 4 years. She did her schooling at St. Dominic Savio Vidyalaya and then, later on, went to pursue graduation in accounting & finance at S.K Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science, and Commerce. Currently, she is pursuing a course from CFA.

Her career in modeling started only a few years ago and she has worked in many TV commercials and print shoots of big brands like Airtel, Free Fire etc.

There was a tough competition and almost anyone that made it to the finals could have made it to the crown. However, Sini was just better by an inch and clinched victory. The runner-up was Rubal Shekhawat, hailing from Rajashtan and was the first runner-up and Shinata Chauhan from UP emerged as the second runner-up.
