Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh is ruling the Indian box office. The latest romantic drama Bollywood flick stars Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. Fans are going crazy for the movie and praising Shahid for his excellent performance in the film while many are saying it’s Shahid’s best performance so far! The film did better box office business on its opening day than expected. The film hit theaters yesterday i.e., 21 June 2019, Friday. Sandeep Vanga’s directorial is a remake of his own hit 2017 film Arjun Reddy; the latest Bollywood movie is a scene to scene replica of the Tollywood movie.

Shahid Kapoor & Kiara Advani Starrer ‘Kabir Singh’ Box Office Collection:
Kabir Singh received a grand opening at the box office as the film has grossed Rs 20.21 crore on its first day of release. With the great box office opening, the romantic drama has become the highest first-day grosser of Shahid’s career. Shahid and Kiara starrer has suppressed the opening collection of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial epic period drama film, Padmaavat, which raked Rs 19 crore on its opening day. Kabir Singh has also become the biggest non-holiday opener by defeating Ajay Devgn starrer Total Dhamaal, which opened up with Rs 16.50 crore.

The leading trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection figure of Kabir Singh and also said that there is a good craze among the youth for the movie. However, the film also received some negative reviews for promoting violence and misbehavior against women.
