Good news for the jio FTTP users as the company is offering 1.1 TB free data at 100 MBPS speeds in some selected regions and is to be out by the second half of this year.
As Jio shook the whole telecom market by it’s disruptive pricing it was already expected that Reliance Jio will do something to shock the FTTP supply sector too and finally the offer is here. According to The Hindu, now the company is offering 1.1 TB free data at 100 Mbps speed plans for its existing FTTP (Fiber to The Home) broadband users in selected regions. As being said the plans will be available by the second half of the year.
Those who are interested in joining the company broadband service will have to pay the interest security deposit of Rs 4,500. which is totally refundable. Company is also saying to connect multiple devices using the dual band JioFiber Home Gateway. There will the offer extension options and it is being said by the head of strategy and planning, Anshuman Thakur that the company’s FTTP network will cover 99 percent of the country.
As per the sources it is being said that the initial FTTH plan includes 100GB of free data at 100 MBPS speed; once the data limited is finished, the customer can do a top-up of 40 GB of free data for like 25 times in a month, which means 1,100 GB per month, eventually mind blown. The Jio router which will be installed by the company can also acts as a set-up box when the company launches internet protocol television (IPTV) services. Which means the company is planning to give many services with its broadband service like IPTV.
The news seems exciting and over whelming at the same time. Let’s hope that the market shocks again and reliance win over millions of hearts once again.
