The latest comedy-drama movie Jhootha Kahin Ka was released on July 19, Friday. The film received mixed reviews from film critics; it is receiving a lukewarm response from the audience. The film is running with low occupancy into theaters as it failed to attract more and more viewers into the theaters. The recently released Bollywood comedy flick stars Rishi Kapoor, Jimmy Sheirgill, Lillete Dubey, Sunny Singh, Omkar Kapoor, Manoj Joshi, Pujita Ponnada and Nimisha Mehta. The film also features actress Sunny Leone in a special appearance in the track “Funk Love.”
While Smeep Kang‘s directorial film Jhootha Kahin Ka is receiving a dull response from the audience, the same day released Hollywood live-action movie The Lion King has become the first choice for moviegoers this week. More interestingly, the Disney movie stars the voices of megastar Shah Rukh Khan and his 21-year-old son Aryan Khan for the most loved father-son duo, Mufasa and Simba respectively. Actor Rishi Kapoor has returned to the big screen with Jhootha Kahin Ka after a long time. However, it seems like the comedy-drama movie has failed to create magic on the silver screen.
The Lion King and superstar Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 are giving a fierce competition to this Friday released comedy movie at the ticket window. According to the box office reports, Jhootha Kahin Ka received slow opening at the box office and failed to show impressive growth during the weekend. The film is expected to complete its first weekend (3 days) run with around Rs 5 crore to Rs 7 crore. Shahid Kapoor’s blockbuster Kabir Singh and Ayushmann Khurrana’s Article 15 are also running in theaters till now, which is also affecting the box office business of Sunny and Omkar’s movie.
