The American television series created a character “Loki” by Michael Waldron and all the movies are featuring on Disney+ and featuring the same character by similar names. “Loki” created a new timeline in the film “Avengers: Endgame” in 2019. We last saw Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in the timeline where he was lying at his brother’s (Thor) feet. He handed over the Tesseract to Thanos (Josh Brolin) in exchange for Thor’s life, but Thanos broke Loki’s neck and say “No more resurrections”. Loki is a character who is very good at what he does. When he first introduced in MCU, he has shown as a Trickster and has the qualities to create a duplicate of himself and fake his death. He has always tried to kill his brother for the Throne which his father given to his brother.
He feels that he is also having the ability to run the kingdom but his father didn’t believe him with it. At the end of the film, he was streaking through space to his apparent death, only to resurface during the end credits scene. In the 2012 “The Avengers” movie, we have seen that Loki survived the fall, but he was the slave of Thanos and tried to get the Tesseract for him. Thanos promises to kill Thor and he will hand over the Throne to him. That was the time when Loki pretend that he is helping Thor fighting against Thanos but he betrayed him and tried to kill him. Thanos took the Tessaract from Loki and try to kill him along with Thor.
Thor tries to save Loki and Loki realizes his mistake and jumps to save Thor. He succeeded to save Thor and sacrifices his own life. Upset Thor tries to take revenge on Thanos to kill his brother but he failed to do so. Loki intentionally cheated on his brother Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in Thor: The Dark World when they had a fight with Dark Elf Malekith (Christopher Eccleston). He gave him the opportunity to remove his father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins), from the Asgardian throne and take over the stead. Loki tried to kill his
father but Thor stops him and keeps him in prison. Loki plays his tricks on Thor and succeeded to escape from prison. Loku tries to be the hire of Odin’s throne in the movie Thor”Ragnarok and he faked his death. He lost his life while saving Thor from Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War”. The last words Loki before his death was “the sun will shine upon us again”. Thor will also appear in its fourth solo film “Thor: Love and Thunder” and Loki will be back to headline his own show.
