Today’s match of the Indian Premier League that was earlier played between the team Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Banglore has been rescheduled after Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrior tested positive with COVID-19. The BCCI officials have confirmed that the two players of team KKR and RCB have been tested positive so they have announced that the match will be postponed. The team Delhi Capitals player Axar Patel tested positive before the tournament started. The ground staff members at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai also tested positive but they didn’t affect the games of IPL. Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Nitish Rana has also been positive before the tournament started and quarantined for some time.

Varun, Sandeep Tested Posted for COVID-19

The Australian players Kane Richardson, Adam Zampa, and Andrew Tyre are also tested positive for COVID-19 and quarantined till 15th May.
