Finally, The Coast Guard recruitment notification has been released and the application of registration started on January 6. It is one of the most awaited recruitment in government jobs. The online registration for the recruitment has bee started on official website Joincoastguard.cdac.in here are the many details available to discover more about this vacancy. The minimum age is 18 year for a candidate who applies for the post while the maximum age is 22 years. Besides this candidate who wants to apply and belongs to the SC/ST caste category so they could get the benefit of age relaxation as well.

According to the official notification on the coast guard website, there is the huge number of vacancy and as per the notification 260 posts are available for Navik (General Duty), 50 Navik (Domestic Branch), 31 Yantrik (Mechanical), 7 Yantrik (Electrical), and 10 Yantrik (Electronics).

The candidate who wants to apply need 250 rupees for the examination fee which will be paid at the time of filling the online application form of this Coast Guard recruitment 2021. Although the SC/ST category has been exempted from this fee and doesn’t need to pay any certain amount for it.

For the post of  Navik (General Duty), The eligibility criteria are set and as per the notification, the applicant needs to pass 12th class with maths and physics as subjects. The candidates for Navik (Domestic Branch) and Yantrik posts should have cleared their Class 10 exams.

All the applicants will appear online examination only after the physical fitness tests and verification of all the documents. The final date of the examination is out and it will be held in March 2021. While the result of this recruitment exam will be released within 20 days after the test.

As you know the selected candidates will undergo through the further procedure including training and studies etc. The basic training for the Navik(General Duty) will start in August 2021. On the other hand, who will be selected for the Navik (Domestic Branch), the training of those candidates will start from October 2021 at INS Chilka. The following training will be followed by sea training and professional training in the allotted trade.

The basic salary for the post of Navik will be getting 21,700 along with DA and other facilities. Candidates who will be shortlisted for the post of Yantrik will get 47000 basic salaries and along with DA will be 6,200 respectively.
