The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu Has announced admission to Ph.D. programs. The interested candidates can visit the official website i.e iitjammu.ac.in to fill the online admission form. The last date to submit the admission form will be 15th May. The tentative dates for the selection process will be 3rd June to 11th June. The shortlisted candidates will get a call on their registered number. The admission will be conducted from 28th June to 5th July. The candidates will get admission on the basis of institute research students and externally funded students. Steps to fill in the online application form are as follows:

- Click on the option “Jammu Ph.D. Programs admission 2021”
- Read the application form carefully
- Fill in the required details such as applicant’s name father’s name, date of birth, applicant’s passport size photographer, and a scanned copy of the applicant’s signature
- Pay the fee and submit the application form
- Download the of and take a print out for the future reference
The candidate must have passed their graduation and post-graduation from any recognized university or institute. They need to show the two years of experience after completing the post-graduation. The institute invites the Ph.D. application in various departments such as Computer Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Humanities, and Social Science. The applicants who are selected for the scholar under the off-campus Ph.D. programs will bring out the major parts of their work at IIT
Jammu. They are required to provide the bio-data of the expected coordination which the institute required. If the applicants are working in any recognization or R&D department, were advised to bring their research as well. The candidates should have at least 2 years of working experience from any recognized institute or university. This application possessed by IIT twice a year in an academic session. For this year’s registration, the online application form is available for all departments.
The candidates should submit proof of their problem experienced by the institute where they are employed. They need to submit this before appearing for the examination. The IIT Jammu will sign an MoU with the institute where the candidate is employed for further researches. The candidates can also change the organization after getting the Noc from the new organization as well. The candidates can get a permit to pursue studies on an off-campus basis.
