A 37 years old man killed by a speeding Audi driver stabbed the car into an auto-rickshaw. The incident happened near Inorbit Mall in the Cyberabad area of Hyderabad on Monday. The police have identified the accused Audi driver as Sujith. They stated that he was drunk and returning home from a party where he hit the auto-rickshaw at high speed. Sujith consumed alcohol at a party and he was returning towards Jubilee Hills along with his friend Ashish. Sujith was driving the car at high speed which hit the auto-rickshaw. A case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder is registered against Sujith and his friend Ashish.

Drunk Driver Rams Audi into Auto in Hyderabad’s Cyberabad

The whole incident is captured on a CCTV camera which revealed the incident. The police have arrested the accused Sujith, his father Raghunandan Reddy, and Ashish. The CCTV footage has cleared that Sujith was drunk at the time of the incident and he was speeding the car. The footage shows that the Audi suddenly stabbed into an auto-rickshaw at the Inorbit Mall in Cyberabad. After the incident happened. Sujith drove away from the place. While police reached the place, they called the ambulance and shifted the auto-rickshaw driver and his passengers to the nearest hospital.

The passenger was killed after reaching the hospital, and the auto driver’s condition is said to be critical is confirmed by the doctor. The passenger who died in the accident is identified as Umesha Kumar who is working in a city-based pub. The investigation into the accident revealed that overspeeding and drunk driving are the cause of the accident. The police found that Sujith and Ashish tried to escape after the accident, but the one of the tires was punctured after the accident. They drove the car a few meters ahead then parked the car. They tried to remove the

number plates and threatened the security guard to not speak about the incident to anyone. They removed the number plate and ran away. When the police called Sujith’s father Raghunandan Reddy to the police station, he said that his driver was driving the car at the time of the incident. But the police showed him the CCTV footage where Sujith is driving the car and Ashish is sitting beside him.
