Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 is back in the game as the film has shown impressive growth during its second weekend. Superstar Hrithik has returned to the big screen after two years with his latest biographical film which was released on July 12. Impressively, Vikas Bahl’s directorial movie showed 80 to 85 percent growth during the second weekend of the film. The film is receiving much love and supports from the audience and it is running with good occupancy into the theaters. The movie grossed Rs 4.51 crore on its second Friday (Day 8) and Rs 8.53 crore on its second Saturday (Day 9).

One of the leading trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest collection figures of the film. He tweeted, “#Super30 is back in form on [second] Sat… Mumbai and DelhiUP circuits witness huge gains, while mass circuits show an upward trend… Should hit ₹ 100 cr today [Sun], if the solid trending continues… [Week 2] Fri 4.51 cr, Sat 8.53 cr. Total: ₹ 88.90 cr. India biz.”

Super 30 has collected Rs 88.90 crore till Saturday. The film is now looking forward to entering Rs 100 crore club. The film has successfully created its magic on the silver screen and attracting more and more viewers into the theaters. Despite receiving mixed reviews from film critics, the film is performing well at the box office by giving stiff competition to other movies — Jhootha Kahin Ka, The Lion King, Kabir Singh and Article 15 — at the ticket window. The film is winning hearts and generating great box office business.

The movie has been declared tax free in Bihar and Rajasthan. Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot praised the film and made an announcement, tweeting, “We must take inspiration from such films and imbibe the value of ‘excellence in education’ in the youth of our society today. I hereby declare this film tax-free in the state of Rajasthan.”

Super 30 is based on the real-life of Patna based mathematician Anand Kumar and his unique educational program Super 30, under which he trains unprivileged children for cracking IIT entrance exams. The film also features Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Shrivastava, Amit Sadh, and Nandish Singh. Hrithik starrer is expected to make it into Rs 100 crore club soon.
