As per the reports, Hopkins died at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys and the cause of his death has been confirmed now. The unfortunate death was confirmed by Bob’s wife, Sian to The Hollywood Reporter and he died after suffering a heart attack on May 9. Before this, the news was confirmed on the official website of the actor. The statement reads,” It is with great sadness that we announce that Bo has passed away. Bo loved hearing from his fans from around the world, and although he was unable to respond to every email over the last few years, he appreciated hearing from each and every one of you”.

Born as Williams “Bo” Hopkins on February 2, 1938, in Greenville, South Carolina, US. He was best known for his supporting roles in some popular hit movies between 1969 and 1979 and appeared in some of the best other television shows and TV movies. Along with this, Hopkins has appeared in over 100 films and television roles as well which took more than 40 years including The Wild Bunch in 1969, The Bridge at Remagen, The Getaway, American Graffiti, The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing, The Killer Elite, Posse, A Small Town in Texas, Midnight Express, and many more.
