Some hints are circulating on social media where the netizens are believing that Google is all set to launch its phone in the market. The listing was hinted at BIS. As we know that the Pixel 4a was the last smartphone launched by Google in India. The smartphone was launched in October 2020 so, it has been more than a year since we didn’t find a single smartphone by the company in the country.
The rumors are believing that a new phone will be launched under the Pixel 6 series. Well, we don’t have the confirmation but the rumors are forcing us to believe in that the company will soon release a Google Phone in India.
Google May Launch Pixel 6a in India
The device was spotted by Mysmartprice in an alleged BIS listing with model number “GX7AS”. Along with this, a device with the same model number has appeared in the IMEI database along with multiple other Google devices.
So, we can find some questions in doubt that Google will launch a new smartphone. Well, BIS listing didn’t share much details about the upcoming phone apart from that it is a Google phone with a G logo on it and manufactured by a Vietnamese company, COMPAL Co Ltd.
Well, we don’t have clarity regarding to the smartphone yet. Along with this, some reports are suggesting it could be the affordable Pixel 6a while others are believing that it could be the Pixel 7. We can suggest that the upcoming smartphone could be the affordable Pixel 6a.
Google Pixel 6a Specification Expected
If we talk about the expected specification of the smartphone so, Pixel 6a will come with the same design language as the Pixel 6. It is also said that the smartphone will come with a smaller form factor than the Pixel 5a 5G. Well, if we talk about front so, there could be a 6.2-inch of OLED display with a 90Hz/120Hz refresh rate. The phone is also expected to come with Google’s custom Tensor chipset that appeared in the Pixel 6 lineup.

Well, Pixel 6a may come with a 12.2-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens. For selfies, there will be an 8-megapixel. The camera function is the same as the Pixel 5a 5G.
