A father of four children has been arrested by the Police after he shot and killed his children and his mother-in-law at home. The incident took place on Sunday night, November 28, 2021, in Lancaster, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The lady was the Grandmother of the children who died in this tragic incident. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Trina Schrader said that the man has been identified as Germarcus David, 29, and the police made his arrest on a Monday morning in connection with killing his children. The whole incident took place at their Southern California home.
According to the sources, when the mother of those children returned home on Sunday night, she found the bodies of her children and their grandmother and as soon as possible, she called 911, said officials. Well, the possible motive has not been released by the authorities of this attack in Lancaster, Antelope Valley high desert community north of Los Angeles. All those children were under the age of 12. The neighbor, Grace Beltran who lives just three houses away told authorities that women ran outside and screamed,” My babies are gone! They all are dead”.
Germarcus David Arrested
The victim, Germarcus David who is 29-years-old surrendered himself to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies within minutes after his wife arrived at their home. Now, he has been arrested and remained jailed on $2 million bails and it is expected that his appearance will be made in court on Tuesday, Nov 30, 2021. Police responded over the call of an emergency at the home which is in the 3500 block of Garnet Lane at around 10:30 PM on Sunday. When the officials reached the spot, they found all the children (under 12 age) and women (who is in her 50s) with gunshots on the upper part of the bodies.
When the paramedical team reached there, they declared them dead. Till now the authorities haven’t released their names. As per the record, the properties belong to Germarcus David and Tyanna Brown. Germarcus David had been working as a licensed security guard who has three firearms permits guns since 2012. His recent permit firearm was issued in August 2018.
On the other side, Waki Jones said that he has been working for the family for the last few years and regularly, dropping the children at the school. He got to know about the news when he came on Monday morning to pick them up. He identified the name of the oldest children as Amaya, 12, and Demarcus who was just 9-years-old. May their soul rest in peace.
