The former managing director of Maruti Udyog Limited (MUL) named Jagdish Khattar passed away on Monday. The news shocked many people in which many local people also including because his work is actually very appreciable. His popularity across the country is very high and all the people who know him are very upset after hearing the news of his sudden demise. He was 78 years old and the reason behind his death coming in front is cardiac arrest.
The confirmation of his death confirmed by the chairman of Maruti Suzuki RC Bhargava. Currently, the company and his family suffering from a big loss that stunned everyone very deeply. Bhargava said that “This is a deep personal loss and has come as a big shock. We had worked together for many years. He is someone who had done a lot of good for Maruti”. Jagdish Khattar was a very reputed and dedicated personality who served at MUL from 1993 to 2007. Now, he leaves everyone in a feeling of deep sorrow, his family and friends are mourning over his demise.
He joined Maruti Udyog Limited (MUL) in 1993 and he appointed as the director of marketing. After his hard work and dedication, he promoted to Managing director in 1999. In May 2002, he joined Suzuki Motor Corporation as a government nominee. He also served as the joint secretary in the Union Ministry of Steel. Apart from this he also held a key administrative position in the Uttar Pradesh government.
After Jagdish Khattar retired from the MUL in 2007, he founded Carnation Auto. It is a multi-brand automobile sales and services company that established in 2008 by Jagdish Khattar. Now, his disappearance in his family breaking lots of hearts. Today, he took his last breath and then took his long sleep of peace due to cardiac arrest.
