The incident was reported by journalist Raj Shekhar Jha on Twitter. In the CCTV footage shared by them, the attackers can be seen easily getting out of the car and removing the revolver, in this footage, Nikita can also be seen pleading for help but the accusers hold her badly. But she is unable to help him before he manages to escape for a brief moment while Nikita struggles to free herself from the man, then shoots him in point-blank range.
Further CCTV footage showed other accused also get out of the car and drag Taufiq back into the car. After this, both the criminals fled from there. Reportedly, he initially wanted to kidnap Nikita but died when he was accused of protesting against his demands. After that Nikita was rushed to the hospital but after some time, Nikita was declared dead. Let us tell you that Nikita was a resident of SGM Nagar and a final year B.Com student.
However the primary accused has now been arrested. Speaking about the incident, ACP (Ballabhgarh) Jayveer Rathi stated, “One of the accused, identified as Taufiq from Sohna, was aware of the victim and harassed by the victim’s family against him a few months back. And a complaint of molestation was filed. But an agreement was reached. According to him, ‘rejection of friendship’ could be a motive behind the crime.
