The founder of Dera Sacha Sauda Ram Rahim Singh has tested positive for Covid-19. He rushed to the private hospital in Gurugram from Sunaria jail in Haryana’s Rohtak district where he tested positive. He was a religious leader, singer, writer, actor, director, composer, and songwriter. He was sentenced to being involved in the murder of journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati. Ram Rahim has tested 96th in the list of 100 most powerful Indians of 2015. He has released many music albums and films which he directed himself. He has usually worked in films for many roles, his most of the films were negatively received by critics although the production house grossed 1 billion.

He has taken to Gurugram’s Medanta from Sirsa-headquartered Dera on Sunday. Then the doctors confirmed that he is COVID-19 positive. Sunaria Jail Superintendent Sunil Sangwan told PTI that all the tests related to his condition could not be completed at PGIMS, Rohtak.
