DU has announced its first cut off list for 2020 for the students. The list is now released for all colleges including Hansraj College, Lady Shree Ram College, Hindu College, Ramjas College, Shree Ram College, SRCC, Kirori Mal College, etc. Now, DU is offering 70,000 seats for undergraduate around 65 Colleges of Delhi.
The admission will start soon in this year. DU has received 3, 53, 153 applications for the admission in College. The College says that the reason behind the increasing admission application is longer registration period, lack of clarity over entrance exams due to the Covid-19 pandemic including longer registration period on the site, and more numbers of students scoring more than 90% in the CBSE Class 12th Exam.
Last year the cut-off was released in the month of June but this year was horrible for all the students because of the lockdown in India. The reason behind the exams and the results was this. Therefore, the academic session got delayed and the cut off was higher than last year.
BA (HONS) In English, the highest cut off announced by the Miranda House at 99%, and Lady Shree Ram College has announced the highest cut off for BCOM (HONS) at 99.75% and for BA (HONS) in History is 99.5%. along with that the cut-off college, this year is increased by 0.5-2 percentage. The highest cut-off was announced by the Hindu College for BA (Hon) in Political Science at 99%.
According to the new cut-off of colleges, 100% marks are required for three courses at Lady Shree Ram College for Women. 100% marks are required for admission in such courses BA (Hons) Psychology, BA (Hons) Political Science, and BA (Hons) Economics.
Many courses have released by Colleges where you can follow the admission process by the official website of DU. The eligible students who have matched their requirements to the College will notify in the soon and need to complete the admission process within a given time, as notified earlier on the university website.
