The highlights of MiLC Week 7 were the Somerset Cavaliers beat the Manhattan Yorkers and the Philadelphians by 7 wickets each. That means the Somerset Cavaliers have still the chance to be made in the Super 8 round-robin clash that will commence in Houston, Texas next week. The Cavaliers thumped the Yorkers by seven wickets with the outstanding show of Karima Gore who thrashed the batting lineup despite the batting favorable conditions at the Mercer County Park. He begs four wickets to stop the Manhattan Yorkers at 66 runs in 20 overs.

Cavaliers Spinner Gore Shines In Must-Win Against the Yorkers

After resisting the Yorkers batters at 66 runs in 20 overs, the Cavaliers sent its openers with the intention to finish the match as soon as possible as it was a great chance to improve the net run rate. Therefore, the Eagles will take on the Cavaliers to make it to the Super 8s. The winner will play against the Stallions to win a ticket to the Super 8s. Atlanta Lightning’s pole position booked their spot into the Super 8s and wait for the clash between Ft. Lauderdale Lions and Atlanta Fire to decide the team that joins them in the next round of the tournament.
