Corrie Pretorius was filmed to be attacking and kicking a 16-years-old boy on the gunshot. After the video started to get viral on the internet, the man was forced to be put in jail by the community for his insane behavior. The matter took place in South Africa’s Limpopo. Corrie Pretorius had applied for the bail from the Groblersdal Magistrate’s Court, but his bail got denied for the cruelty he did.
The advocate of the accused man tried to grant the bail. Corrie Pretorius said in the court that the man is in danger, and should be granted the bail. The advocate stated, that Corrie Pretorius was abused when he was kept in custody. He suffered from trauma when he started to face threats of killing. His legal team said before the court that Corrie Pretorius getting threats of killing him in the prison, so the prison is not safe for him. Advocate JJ Venter represented Corrie Pretorius in the matter. When the case was presented to the accused man, he got anxious.

According to the Advocate JJ Venter, the last time when the accused received a threat, was on the night of Tuesday, and everything was confirmed in the morning of Wednesday. The Advocate JJ Venter also informed the court about an eyewitness.
According to the sources, it was also discussed in the court that the day the incident took place, the boy had asked Corrie Pretorius for food, but the accused denied the offer of food saying he had ordered his own food, the man asked the complainant to drop him to his home, and after the gap of a few minutes, the boy started to laugh at Corrie Pretorius over this all he got angry and pulled the teenager from his breast and threw him out of the shop, and the man started to kick and attack the teenager at gunpoint.
The case was sued by the mother of the 16-year-old boy who was harshly attacked and kicked by a 50-year-old man at gunpoint. The next hearing of the court is scheduled for the 6th of September 2022, as the Groblersdal Magistrate’s Court announced.
