Recently Xiomi has launched a series of television under Mi TV for the Indian market. These televisions are smart TVs which support internet and normal set up box at a very low price.
The range of Mi TV lays between Rs 13,999 to Rs 40,000, with a wide range of models from 32-inch HD model, 43-inch Full HD model, and high end 55 inch TV that supports 4K resolutions.
Due to the high-end technology of Mi with affordable pricing of its TV all trying to buy the Mi TVs. With the recent launch of Xiomi Mi TV 4 and Mi TV 4A, people getting confused to choose between them. Let’s have to make a comparison between them.
Design
Mi TV 4 is thin with a thin bottom edge which house the infrared receiver. It is thinner than a Smartphone with a thickness of 4.9mm. The weight of the TV is 17.8kg which keep the TV on the lighter side. Compared to Mi TV 4, Mi TV 4A is 43 inch with a weight of 7.4kg. All the connectivity ports of the TV are present on the rear side.
Display
Mi TV 4 has a 55 –inch screen with thin size bezels. With the the4k resolution on its bank, it provides us with excellent video quality with the colors on the screen appearing are of high contrast and saturation.
In Mi TV 4A, we get a 43-inch screen with full high definition resolution. This type of TV cost around Rs 40,000, and there is not much to compare in this segment.
Hardware and Software
Both Mi TV 4 and Mi TV 4A have 64bit quad-core processor of 1.5GHz. Mi TV 4 had 1GB RAM whereas Mi TV 4A had 2GB RAM. The graphics of the Mi TV 4 is Mali-450, and that of Mi 4A is Mali-T850. You will get the same software between the two TVs. The audio system of Mi TV 4A is Dolby with 20W speakers, and Mi TV 4 gets DTS-HD Dolby speakers. Mi TV 4 gets USB 2.0, and USB 3.0 and audio-video port whereas Mi TV 4A gets 3 USB 3.0, Ethernet and AV port.
Value for Money
Both this TV is value for money. This depends solely on you as you are the one who will decide how much you want to spend. Both the TV is laced with Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and number of ports.
