The Centre informed the Supreme Court on 31st May that the decision CBSE class 12 exam 2021 will be announced within two days. The Education Minister has made an announcement after hearing the court’s decision. The court has asked for the next hearing on the cancellation of class 12 exams on 3rd June 2021. The state government has also submitted the format of CBSE class 12 in detail. A meeting has been conducted in the CBSE 12 exam on 23rd May where the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and the Union Minister Ramesh Pokhiraj, Prakash Javadekar, Sanjay Dhotre, and Smriti Irani attended the meeting. The Education Minister announced that the decision of conducting the CBSE class
12 exams will be announced by 1st June. Each state government has shared their views and plan on conducting the exams this year in offline mode and also suggested decreasing the time duration of the examination. The Education Minister has announced on tweeter that the safety of students and teachers will not be neglected and each decision will be taken by compromising on these factors amid pandemics. This matter will be heard before the supreme court on Thursday and the ministry will announce its decision whether to conduct the exams or cancel. In the last hearing on the petition to cancel the class 12 exam 2021,
the Supreme Court has also advised adopting the last year’s policy for class 12 exams, and the court will examine the details further. The lockdown has also been announced in many states and extended till 15th June. The students who are supposed to appear in the Class 12 board exams have suggested a few innovative ways to evaluate them in view of COVID-19 making it unsafe to check out them in a standard manner, as some of the students have lost their loved ones in this pandemic and not in the state of appearing in the exam. A report has also come that the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal NIshank is also admitted to AIIMS due to the post COVID complications today.
Several state government has also suggested getting the students vaccinated before the announcement of final decision on CBSE class 12 Board exams 2021. The Punjab government has shown its concern to vaccinate the 12th class students before the examination. Due to the delayed exam of the 12th class, college admission will also be delayed.
