Chhichhore Story Plot: Annirudh (Sushant) and Maya’s (Shraddha) son named Raghav thinks that he is a big loser in his parents’ eyes. He jumps off a building due to the pressure he feels. He gets critically ill and fights for his life in a hospital. Raghav’s parents reunite with their college squad after years. They go on vacation where they relive their college days, hoping their story will save Raghav’s life, who thinks himself a looser.
Chhichhore Review: The film will make you feel connected to the story since the very first scene. The relatability is the USB of the film which is attracting more and more viewers into the theatres. The film shows how highly competitive entrance exams can put students in stress and depression. Some students, who cannot take the failure because of peer pressure and family pressure, choose the wrong path of self-destruction.
Annirudh and Maya, who are a divorced couple, get dispersed when their teenage son attempts suicide due to family and peer pressure. The doctors tell his parents that Raghav is in critical condition. His father Annirudh decides that the only way to get back his son is to take Raghav back in their old college days. And yes, his high achieving parents were in an engineering college as well. For Annirudhh whom his college buddies call Anni lovingly, college is just not a place from where he received a degree, but a place where he fell for his lady love Maya and where he created a lifelong friendship bond with Sexa (Varun), Derek (Tahir), Acid (Naveen), Mummy (Tushar), and Bevda (Saharsh).
Director Nitesh Tiwari deserves a pat on his back for making such a moving film that will keep you connected to the story and all the characters from the bingeing to the climax of the film. Sushant and Shradhha starrer gives a very positive message that losing is as important as winning in life and that these are just two sides of a coin. This movie will take you to the fun college and hostel days that teach many lessons and create some lifelong relations.
