The well-known cartoonist Ibrahim Badusha who has drawn cartoons for various causes died due to COVID-19 on Wednesday. He was 37 years old and tested posted for coronavirus a few days ago. When he tested positive for COVID-19, his family admitted him to Aluva Taluk Hospital. He got discharged after tested negative for coronavirus and returned to his home. After some time he felt uneasiness and a problem in breathing. His family took him to the hospital where he breathed his last on Wednesday. He has undergone treatment for post-COVID-19 complications and died on Wednesday morning.

Cartoonist Badusha Passes Away

Badusha was the former vice-chairman of the Kerala Cartoon Academy and Kerala Co-ordinator of the Cartoon Club of Kerala. He has participated in many social activities where he created awareness on COVID safety. He has also spread awareness by drawing cartoons on road safety, child abuse, and the harmful effects of plastic on the environment. He has also trained hundreds of students in drawing cartoons and also organized many shows on television channels as well. He was admitted to

the hospital when he tested positive for coronavirus and his wife and children admitted him to Aluva taluk hospital. After the treatment, he tested negative for coronavirus and discharged from the hospital. He was having some post-coronavirus complications such as uneasiness and problems in breathing. His family examined the situation and took him to the hospital where he breathed his last. He has made a record of making a “longest live caricature drawing show” which was named “Portraiture”. He has trained hundreds of students in drawing cartoon exhibitions in various states of the country.

He has made many shows on several tv channels as well. The Kerala Cartoon Academy has expressed its grief to the demise of Badusha. He has done many sessions where he taught many students to draw cartoons and make them a career option. Badusha lived in Thottukham near Aluva with his family.
