The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced postponing the CA Foundation Examination 2021 due to the COVID-29 situation in India. They have issued a statement on Saturday where they said that the ICAI exam will now commence from 24th July. The CA exam was scheduled to be conducted from 24th June, 26th June, 28th June, and 30th June. The officials said that “In view of the ongoing COVID-19 and the interest of welfare and well-being of students and to mitigate their hardships, it has been decided to postpone the CA foundation exam. They said that the examination will now be commenced from 24th July 2021 across India.
There are 24,149 new COVID-19 cases and 381 deaths on Saturday and a single-day toll for the national capital since the outbreak of the pandemic. It was the 6th day in a row when the metropolis has been seen daily fatalities of over 300. A DelhiHealth Department bulletin said that the total coronavirus cases registered in the city is gone up to 10,72,065 and the death toll has gone up to 15,009. The positivity rate is 32.72% and the cases fatality rate is 1.40%. Delhi has now registered 98,264 active cases on Saturday. They have issued a detailed schedule for the examination which will be announced shortly.
A total of 17,862 patients has been recovered from Coronavirus and a total of 9,58,792 patients recovered in India. There is a total of 73,811 tests including 46,581 RTPCR and 27,230 rapid antigen tests have been registered in the last 24 hours. India has reported 3,23,144 cases on Tuesday and the number of active cases in the country was 28,82,204. A total of 1,76,36,307 cases has been reached in the country. The examination for Inter (IPC) and final papers would be conducted in the afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm. All the papers would be of 3 hours duration. Paper 1 and Paper 2 would be of 3 hours duration and would be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm.
