With the watchers glued in and nearly in the ending of their watchlist, here Netflix has all the tricks ready to make them stick for longer, it seems. The release list is never-ending, but the news of Bordertown Season 3 is one of them for sure, this Finnish crime drama on Netflix that everybody is talking about which will hit your screens on May 11, 2020.
This is one of the splendid Hollywood Television programs we at any point had. The Bordertown series shows the story of a respected National Bureau of Investigation officer, Kari Sorjonen, to a little and narrow town on the outskirt among Finland and Russia for his project, along with his wife; recovering from brain cancer and daughter, looking to escape the horrors of his career and to find some peace.
He is escaping for being identified by many victims. And he wants to leave behind the murders, the victims. But everything is in vain. The catastrophe strikes him in the most unexpected way imaginable, he gets drawn into a string of murders that connect to one another, sure, yet in addition, it has some association with his family. He needs to escape from every one of these homicides and the battle and needs a tranquil existence with family. However, he did not succeed in this purpose.
Bordertown is loaded with anticipation, murder, investigations, and family drama. This fictional crime drama seems all too authentic, that even if we know that it is not based on any real-life events, it strikes us for real. There two seasons of Bordertown have already been released, comprising a total of 16 episodes. This is the first-ever Finnish language series which is available with English subtitles.
The series is designed and created by Miikko Oikkonen and directed by himself, Jyri Kähönen, and Juuso Syrjä. Bordertown stars Ville Virtanen, Matleena Kuusniemi, Anu Sinisalo, Lenita Susi, Kristiina Halttu, Olivia Ainali, and Ilkka Villi, among others. Virtanen and Sinisalo won the Best Actor and Best Actress Emmys for their outstanding performances in the series as Detective Inspector Kari Sorjonen and Detective Lena Jaakkola respectively.
