Padmavati, the first Indian movie to come with the budget of approx 200 crores which is a huge amount. Of course, this could possible only in the production of Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is well known for the direction and production of movies with fine quality and almost every movie becomes super hit. He took a well-known poem this time ‘PADMAVAT’ written by excellent poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi.

In the movie, the story revolves around Queen of Mewar, Padmavati who is exceptionally beautiful and everybody talks about her beauty and charms. She is the wife of King of  Mewar Rawal Ratan Singh. On listening to the praises of Queen Padmavati, Alauddin Khilji who is second most powerful Afghan emperor wishes to meet her but Ratan Singh denies and then it hurts the ego of Alauddin Khilji and he decides to capture the fort of Mewar and then Queen will belong to him. The movie will tell this story and struggle of Padmavati to save her respect and her territory.

Deepika Padukone- Padmavati

Shahid Kapoor- Ratan Singh

Ranveer Singh- Alauddin Khilji

Deepika Padukone is the protagonist of the movie and looking so into the character. Shahid Kapoor also took training of one month to learn using the sword. Ranveer Singh was locked in his flat and was trying to come in the character, which is so rude, arrogant. This is the first time he is playing the antagonist in the movie. While practicing his character Ranveer as so disturbed that he had to consult a psychiatrist. Everybody did their best for the movie but some Hindu communities are opposing the film and the movie was supposed to release on 1 Dec 2017 but due to the opposition it was delayed. now the censor board has analysed the movie and asked for several changes like changing the name to Padmavat. Bhansali agreed and did editing, then he got green light to release his movie on 24 january 2018. But still som states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar pradesh this movie is asked to be banned. I personally think that we should not neglect the hardwork that everbody did to revive the history and conveying that to public and fans are also eagerly waiting to see the movie.
