Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif movie Bharat has gained a lot of attention in the early days. The movie released on Eid became the biggest opener of the year 2019 is now struggling to reach Rs 200 crore club. As per the reports, the film has raked in Rs 188.65 crore so far. The power-packed action drama is witnessing a sharp decline in its ticket sales.  Bharat box office collection crossed Rs 150 crore mark within five days of its release. The movie is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Reel life Productions, Salman Khan Films, and T-series. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat is full of drama, action, comedy, and emotion.

Bharat, which is based on a  South Korean film Ode to My Father (2014) traces the history the South Korea, which explains the life of a man spanning from the 1950s to 2010. The movie traces India’s post Independence history displaying the account of Bharat’s life for 60 years after his father stays back in present-day Pakistan during the Partition of India in 1947 and asks his 8-year-old son to promise to lead the household and keep the family together, no matter what.  The movie was released on 4,700 screens in India and over 1,300 screens overseas. It has been released in 43 countries worldwide.  The box office collection of Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan has made the movie one of the biggest releases of the year. The movie has got 3 out of 5 stars.  According to the critics, Bharat is one of the highest grossing films in the year 2019 along with the Gully Boy, Total Dhamaal, Kesari and Uri- The Surgical Strike. Bharat has been nothing less than a celebration for Salman Khan fans.
