Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s niece and popular Congress leader Karuna Shukla has been passed away due to COVID-19. She died on Tuesday at Raipur. According to the information, Karuna Shukla aged 70 had major health issues due to the Coronavirus. After the news about her death everyone getting shocked and fell down in sorrow. Reports said She took her last breath at the private hospital of Raipur. Karuna Shukla was undergoing medical care after when she tested positive for the infection. The Death cause is found and she was died due to the intense critical problem due to the COVID. She unable to take a breath and the problem becomes the cause of death.

Karuna Shukla was a member of 14th Lok Sabha representing the Janjgir constituency of Chattisgarh. Along with it, she lost general elections in 2009 from Korba to Charan Das Mahant of Congress.

After the election, she became a member of the BJP and Shukla performed her responsibility till 2013. She joined Congress again in 2014 and The Congress fielded her from the Bilaspur constituency, but she lost to BJP’s Lakhan Lal Sahu.

Lastly Karuna Shukla appeared in 2018 in the Chattisgarh Assembly Elections and fought from Rajnandgaon’s seat against BJP’s Raman Singh. But unfortunately, she lost the election.
