Bollywood most talented actor recently opened up his relationship with Malaika Arora who was ex-wife of Arbaaz Khan.
Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have a huge age difference, but this does not affect their relationship. Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan separated after 18 years of their marriage. The reason behind their split is his dependency on Salman for money and professional. Another reason for their separation is Malaika’s bold lifestyle. They got divorced on 11 May 2017.
Soon after their divorce, the media finds out that Malaika Arora was dating Arjun Kapoor. Recently Arjun Kapoor opens up his relationship with Malaika after months of speculation. He has said that despite coming from a “broken home”, he believes in the institution of marriage, adding, that he does not plan on tying the knot anytime soon.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Arjun said, “Even though I come from a broken home, I believe in marriage. I see a lot of happily married couples around. I believe it is a good option to have. But that doesn’t mean you can jump the gun and go straight to it. Life has to lead you to it. You have to discover things, enjoy the relationship’s ups and down, and then see where it takes you.”
He also refused that he did not have any “peer pressure” to tie the knot and neither Malaika Arora is pressurising him to tie the knot. His colleague Ranvir Singh and his cousin Sonam Kapoor has recently got married.
He said in one of his interviews, “Peer pressure hota hai pehli drink peeney ke liye. Shaadi Ke liye peer pressure nahi hota. That’s a teenage thing. When you are mature enough to take the decision on your own, peer pressure doesn’t matter. Nobody can ever tell me what to do. You need to feel these things from within. That’s the way it should be. Your well-wishers can always tell you what they think. They are there to help you out, but at the end of the day, I know my family and friends have always been respectful of who I am as a person. They will always be supportive, but nobody ever tells me that you must do something because everybody else is doing it.”
Media asked him to comment on the age gap between him and Malaika, Arjun said, “I would not even want to speak about this and give it importance. It does not matter to me, so I don’t want to justify anything.”
