An official announcement was made by The Allstate Corporation On August 28, 2020, that Rhonda Ferguson will become a part of the company as an Executive Vice President as well as General Counsel, which was effective September 28 same year. According to the updates, Ferguson will take over from Susie Lees. Susie gave her 32 years to the company and now, she is going to retire from her service to Allstate in 2021 and she had announced her intention to retire next year. Until, Lees remains the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of the Corporation.

According to the details, Rhonda Ferguson joined the Union Pacific in 2016 after approx. a decade as Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Chief Ethics Officer at FirstEnergy, an electric utility in her homestate of Ohio.

In the beginning of her career, Rhonda was serving as an Assistant General Counsel and Assitant Corporate Secretary at Ferro. Along with this, she was a partner at BakerHostetler and a litigation associate at Thompson Hine LLP. She received her degree of bachelor in industrial engineering from Northwestern University and a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

In Rhonda’s career, she achieved huge respect and love from her colleagues and co-workers. Her achievement took her to the peak of her life.
