We are good to go for launch! Mission Mangal is an upcoming Bollywood flick which is loosely based on real-life events. The film is written by Sajid-Farhad and directed by Jagan Shakti and it is jointly produced by Akshay Kumar, R. Balki, Aruna Bhatia, and Anil Naidu under the production banner of Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions and Fox Star Studios. The multi-starrer film features Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, H. G. Dattatreya and Sonakshi Sinha. The official teaser of the film is now out and receiving a positive response from viewers. The makers of the film dropped the official teaser on July 9 on YouTube, and it has received over 7 million viewers till now.

Superstar Akshay shared the official first look poster of the film on his Instagram handle a week ago. He wrote in the caption of the post, “A story of underdogs who took India to Mars. A story of strength, courage and never giving up! #MissionMangal, the true story of India’s space mission to Mars. Coming to you on 15th August 2019!”

Khiladi Kumar also shared a picture with his Mission Mangal team, including Vidya, Sonakshi, Taapsee and Sharman, in which he praised women scientists. He captioned the post, “Be it making a home or launching a successful space mission, women know it all! Celebrating the power of women scientists: #MissionMangal is their story!”

The film focuses on the great achievement that restored the confidence of India.
