Ajay Devgn starrer De De Pyaar De was released on 17th May 2019, Friday. The film received good opening at the box office and grossed Rs 10 crore on its opening day. The film obtained the momentum during its first weekend and managed to cross the mark of Rs 30 crore. However, elections also affected the box office collection of the movie in some parts in India, but it is still running successfully into theaters with good occupancy. The rom-com Bollywood flick stars Ajay, Tabu and Yaariyan fame actress Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The film revolves around a story of a 50-year-old divorcee, Ashish Mehra (Ajay), who falls in love with a 26-year-old girl, Ayesha (Rakul). Ashish takes Aaysha to his home in Manali to receive approval for their marriage from his estranged wife Manju (Tabu) and kids. The film features chaos caused by Ashish and Aaysha’s decision to get married. De De Pyaar De is written by Luv Ranjan and directed by Akiv Ali, who marked his directorial debut with the movie. After ending its first weekend on a decent note the film is looking forward to ending its first week on a good note as well.
