This complaint was filed by one Saurav Das who claimed that he approached the NIC, National E-Governance Division (NeGD), and the ministry of electronics and information technology to know about the developer of the Arogya Setu app. Arogya Setu is an application that is referred by the Indian Government and compulsory to download before entering Cinema Halls, Restaurants, etc.

“The Commission directs the CPIO, NIC to explain this matter in writing as to how the website was created with the domain name, if they do not have any information about it,” Information Commissioner Vanaja N Sarna has ordered.
