The R&B singer radically passed in August 2001 at the age of 22. She died in a plane crash. Her full name was Aaliyah Dana Haughton. The incident was happened in the Bahamas after shooting the music video ‘Rock the Boat’.

Now as per the latest reports the allegation comes that she took these sleeping pills that did not appear at that time. Kingsley Russell who is 33 years old and with Aaliyah during the accident has revealed that “They took her out of the van; she didn’t even know she was getting boarded on a plane,”.
At that time Russel was only 13 years old. According to the details, his family ran a taxi company in Abaco Island. The whole team just wrapped up the shoot and wanted to get back to the US. But unfortunately, they were contacted by the crash and lost their lives.
Reportedly it was found, the pilot had recently explained that the aircraft would be too cumbersome with eight passengers, including Aaliyah’s 300-pound bodyguard, as well as their bags and cameras.

Russel also told the media that he had noticed Aaliyah that she was deep in sleep and unconscious. So the crew members help her and carried unconscious Aaliyah to the aircraft. Even the vocalist also reportedly told that they have face fear after the take-off. Eventually, the aircraft was imbalanced and out of the control of the Pilot. The end result we all know.
